KODUMBALUR Temple

Also known as Moovarkoil (36km from Pudukkottai). Of the three shrines only two exist now. These temples were built by Boodhi Vikramakesari in the 10th century A.D. with sculptures of Kalarimurthi, Gajasamharamurthi, Ardhanariswara, Gangadaramuthi, etc., which are masterpieces of art.
